#3 Fashion Trend From NY Streets

One of the best, and easiest way to look for new trends and style inspiration is to open your eyes and consult the world around you. Look to your friends, your colleagues, and all of the strangers you pass everyday walking the streets, you may be surprised to see how different each person looks and be able to pick up a few tips.

A trend I see on the streets alot is the denim top, specifically a denim jacket or button up. Alot of people are bringing black the denim jacket in their wardrobe. This piece is one that I see as being a year long wear. You can wear it over a flirty dress, with a pair of cigarette pants, to keep warm or just to look cool. Its a great piece to thrift for, or steal from your moms closet because they have been around the style block many times before. Wether its beat up, patched, and holed for a more rough punky look, or a worn light denim for a more gypsy flower child look it is versatile garment to add to your fall closet.
